I have to admit... I am a little type A and love to organize. I feel like this isn't shocking to most people who know me in real life... but it helps to explain my obsession with labeling. As I was learning (and still am learning) how to do hand lettering and calligraphy, I would use literally ANYTHING as a practice item. Bins, labels, treat jars - you name it, I labeled it. This was great practice, but also I just loved the added touch of organization it gave me. Labels are a great way to help your household put items back where they belong. They make clean up time a breeze (and also add a cute flair to basic everyday bins). Interested in custom labels of your own? Send me a message or check them out over on my Etsy!

When planning a wedding, it can be easy to stick to traditional or simply colors. They are tried and true hues that will make sure you stand out on your big day. But let me let you in on a little secret... COLOR CAN WORK! When Delaney (the wedding planner) and Abby (the bride) came to me asking for no less than 6 colors for one wedding, I was a little hesitant... I had to make sure I executed their vision in the best way possible. They honestly were amazing to work with - and we all held hands to bring this to life. We decided on a game plan of keeping colors consistent by table (for numbers and place cards) + doing a single color for the main signage. This allowed us to execute a more cohesive look across the entire venue. Delaney also coordinated the perfect group of vendors to execute this. The florals really brought everything together mixed with the linens, furniture, and backdrop (the St. Pete Pier!). Together everyone's talents really helped to make bold beautiful. If you are planning a wedding in the St. Pete/Tampa area, I highly recommend any of these amazing vendors below.

I am so happy you have stumbled across my site! I realized I had never really formally introduced myself, my company, or wha lead me to this little business of mine. I was born and raised in Texas, but moved to Florida last year. I work in corporate retail by day, and enjoy this creative outlet by night. I started my Etsy back in 2017 and officially registered MWD in 2019 back in Texas. It all started after my husband and I's own wedding. I was a bit of a DIY bride, but I really loved custom making all the goodies for our big day. Now I help other brides and clients customize their own special events. Last year, my husband and I made the move to Florida, and I brought MWD along with me. I have really found an amazing group here who have helped me grow this little side hustle of mine. |
